Fear and Anxiety Are Lies

Silence Your Worried Mind whilst Setting Goals, and Living a Thriving Life

When you experience both fear and anxiety, it's the worst feeling you get.

Your mind is filled with hundreds and thousands of thoughts every second. Constantly being worried about the future or regretting the past. Having to feel like fear and anxiety are holding you back from living your life.

You're not alone, Bro. I've been there, too.

Many people struggle with fear and anxiety in today's world. They feel pressured to do things they don't enjoy, face challenges and don't understand, and lose sight of what matters to them.

But there's a simple way to overcome fear and anxiety:

Being PRESENT.

Being in the moment means focusing on what's happening right now instead of what might happen later or what happened before.

It means accepting reality as it is instead of wishing it was different.

It means choosing action over worry and growth over comfort.

People tend to wonder why it is valid?

Cause it frees your mind from the bullshit thoughts that overwhelm you. It also helps you appreciate more of what you have than you lack.

It empowers you to take control of your life instead of letting life control you.

As Eckhart Tolle, the author of The Power of Now, says:

"Unease, anxiety, tension, stress, worry — all forms of fear — are caused by too much future, and not enough presence. Guilt, regret, resentment, grievances, sadness, bitterness, and all forms of non-forgiveness are caused by too much past, and not enough presence."

So how can you be more in the moment?

Here's a simple idea that I do since it works for me.

I want you to write down your thoughts.

Whenever I feel anxious or fearful, I take out a pen and paper or my phone and write down everything that's going on in my mind.

I don't censor or judge myself. I just let it all out.

This helps me clear my mind and see what's really bothering me. It also helps me find solutions or alternatives that I didn't think of before.

It also helps me calm down and relax.

Writing down your thoughts is like having a conversation with yourself. It's a way of expressing emotions, understanding problems, and finding answers.

If you want to overcome fear and anxiety by being in the moment.

Please try and do this brain dump for the next 7 days.

Every time you feel overwhelmed by negative thoughts, write them down.

See how it makes you feel and what it reveals to you.

THE OVERWHELMING LIFE AND HOW TO FIX IT

Life is a game.

We are the designers of that game.

And yet, we make it more difficult. Because of this, we transfer the idea that this is a complex ideology to the next generation.

Being overwhelmed in life, in some cases, is a natural human response.

It's the result of the choices, habits, beliefs, environment, or the people we surround ourselves with. A consequence of how we perceive and respond to what surrounds us. Feeling overwhelmed can make you tired and unmotivated, making everything seem more complex.

But there's a simple way to make any task or situation feel more manageable: changing how you think about it.

Changing how you see your task or situation is beneficial for your mind. Everything is about how you can change your attitude from "Bruh, I can't do this" to "Okay this is literally hard, but I can make something out of it somehow. Just got to figure out some parts".

Reframing your thinking stops you from being overwhelmed by fear and anxiety.

One way to help you reframe it is the use of stories that you tell yourself. What you speak or write about yourself creates a narrative supporting your life values and goals.

Look, bro, I get it.

But instead of telling yourself all the negative stuff that always pops up in your head. I want you to focus more on writing down your thoughts. Instead of becoming a victim of your circumstances, please wake up and take action, one small step at a time.

Focus on what you can actually control.

Ignore what's been going on about the news and your neighbor's problems.

Fix yourself first and then help others.

The keynote of reframing your mind is about something other than denying yourself or reality. It's about choosing a more creative and optimistic way of looking at things.

THE VISION FRAMEWORK

You are the main driver.

The vision in your mind is the finish line.

Sometimes, you don't know what you can do with your mind.

People know what dreams are, yet they still haven't realized it. The very thing you think about is nothing more but a plan if you laze around and do nothing. Now, you must convert that into something more than just a dream.

Create a vision plan for your goals.

The plan is simple. Write down what you want to happen in your life and what you think is important to you right now. Next is laying down the foundation for your vision.

You're about to Break it down, yo!

The vision you've written is your GOALS for your image. Now, we'll be focusing on creating your SUB-GOALS. At the bottom of your goals, list down every single NEEDS to be completed to reach the vision that you're making.

I like sticking my stuff to the wall to remind myself of what I must do to reach the desired level of success. You can still create it on your computer and put the ideas on writing software like NOTION.

When you write down your goals and subgoals. It is time for you to start taking action on them.

Start by creating a schedule on what you'll be doing and focusing on the day and the next day. If you're having trouble assessing how you'll make your schedule because of work, school, etc

You can always use ChatGPT for that. And make it as detailed as possible.

Here's the prompt.

Hi, I need help planning my [Time or Date] schedule. I have the following tasks: [Tasks, Tasks, Tasks, Tasks]. Please create a program to help me complete these tasks efficiently and effectively. I would appreciate it if you could consider the following factors: [This section is about when you wake up, sleep, eat, and other things]. Thank you.

Example of the prompt.

Hi, I need help planning my schedule for [September 23, 2023 to June 30, 2024]. I have the following tasks: [Coding, Writing, SEO, Copywriting, Marketing, and Sales]. Please create a schedule to help me complete these tasks efficiently and effectively. I would appreciate it if you could consider the following factors: [I wake up at 3 a.m., that's where I work. I eat lunch at 12 p.m. I work again from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. I eat at 6 p.m., and I sleep at 8 p.m.]. Thank you.

Your primary focus should be the schedule that you've created.

Also worth noting is that. You don't have to beat yourself or be too damaging to yourself when there are days that you miss out on one of your daily tasks or you wake up late. Please be reminded that nothing is perfect. It would be best if you calmed your ego on becoming someone perfect on the get-go. Nothing works like that.

You can be strict with yourself, but never downgrade your abilities just because of what happened.

When things go hard and challenging. Take a BREAK, but never QUIT.

"The point of the departed arrow is not merely to pierce the bullseye and carry the trophy: the point of the arrow is to sing the wind and remake the world in the brevity of flight."

All right, that's all for me today, folks.

See you next week.
